White gelcoat hull with integrated light grey striping. Antifouling and anodes are from may 2014. Anti slip on cockpit floor and cockpit seats. Stainless steel clamps. 1st price Belgian Championship IRC 1, 1ST price Belgian Championship IRC 1 double, 4th price Dutch Championship IRC 1. End grained balsa / foam composite construction using biaxal and unidirectional glass with ISO NPG gelcoat and vinylester resin on the outer hull layer for a better warranty against hull blisters. “SCRIMP” resin infusion system moulding process for optimum laminate strength with 65% glass content in structural skins. The moulding specifications conform with ISO, ABS and ISAF design regulations. All bulkeads are laminated or glued to both the hull and deck. Main bulkhead is a high strength sandwich moulding, it is glued to both the hull and deck. Resin infused high strength grid pan structure transfers keel and rig loads into the hull. A modern high efficiency keel comprising of an iron cast fin with lead bulb is glued and bolted through the hull, with substantial counterplates. Moulded non skid surfaces on the horizontal deck areas. Moulded toerails on the foredeck. High-aspect, balanced spade rudder constructed from biaxal and unidirectional glass, large diameter carbon stock mounted in JP3 self-aligning bearings.
